Can't get url for forum page with Firefox.

Firefox 18.0.2/ Windows 7 Home Premium w/SP 1

One website I visit is bj21.com.

It's "Green Chip" pages are paid subscription only. It has many subforums.

When I visit most forums on the web, I can see the url for a thread I'm reading in the Firefox address bar.

But for some reason, with bj21.com Green Chip (subscription) it only says "http://bj21.com/frames/main.html" for every thread.

There is a "Free Board" at that site, which functions normally as far as showing the url in the address bar.

How can I get the url for the "frames" pages?

With IE, I do get the url, the same way as with other forums - right click the page, left click "Properties".

I've tried right clicking the page with Firefox, and exploring the options given, but can't find a page url.

Related question:

Is there a way on this forum to Subscribe to a Thread, so that I can receive an email when there is a response? If so, how? Can it be done on a thread by thread basis, or do I have to receive emails for all threads I've posted in, or none?

If you right-click a framed page, you will see a new section on the menu, starting with This Frame. That gives you a "fly-out" submenu with various actions you can take on the framed page.

On some sites, you can just view that portion of the site directly by opening that frame in a new tab and conveniently keep navigating, while on other sites the pages are coded to reload themselves back into a frame. Either way, you should have the option on that submenu to bookmark the framed page or to access page info under View Frame Info.

On this forum, there used to be a link just to the right of your original question to stop getting notified of updates. So you could opt in by default in your user settings, and then opt out if the thread went off topic. Does that work for you?

I don't see the option to stop thread updates right now.
