In Windows 7, are ALL temp internet files (including vids) stored somewhere, like IE does in Windows XP but not in Win 7?

I just switched to a new computer and it runs Windows 7 instread of XP which I'm used to. I liked being able to go to my temporary internet files location and find and move the video clips (MP4, FLV, etc.) files and save them. The IE in Windows 7 doesn't show any temporary saved video files. It was suggested, maybe other browsers do? Does this browser save these video files?

Firefox by default (if you are not in Private Browsing) caches a lot of files and information. Some of these are within other files, but larger objects like videos will have their own file.

Keying about:cache into the location bar gives you information about these, and whilst it is possible to find things manually you would be better looking for a cache viewer add-on that will make this more user friendly. (May not be easy to find at the moment apparently due to some changes some of the older dd-ons may now not work)

There are also various add-ons that help with downloading videos.

Video are usually streamed and played with a dedicated Flash player.
The actual Flash file isn't stored in the cache, only the player can be in the cache.

You will need an extension to save such a streamed file to the hard drive.

Any recommendations on an extension to save a streamed file?
