why can't I open several foxfire pages like I used to?

I have just reinstalled Norton 360 Premier and still have a "Error:"8504, 104" warning on my Norton Product. Since the reload & ensuring that Norton's Live Updates were current, I can only open Firefox as a single page. Is this a firefox problem or is it a Norton 360 problem?

I just updated to V:21 & I still can't get the updated Firefox to open 2nd or 3rd pages. Where to now?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
