Both concerning my OpenWebMail (for Email) that I use from my local provider: New Email alerts window opens full screen (annoying . . . blocks out the page I am on at the moment) when it used to open smaller in the top left corner and audio Email alerts (using Quicktime) have stopped working.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks and history. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Nope, didn't seem to do anything but there was some kind of popup about the default Email . . . can't remember exactly what it said. BTW, I don't believe I use a "default Email" system as my Email is from a local provider. I do have a couple of Email boxes in Yahoo too.

Is this a program? or a Email Provider?
