How can I block unrequested Celebrity News - it's irritating!
I'm already fed up with getting Celebrity News popping up unrequested and slowing my old laptop. I'm chronically ill and can only use my laptop for 15mins at a time and so this irritation is a double whammy. Please help me get rid of this and any future unrequested 'new features'. Thanks.

That's not a Firefox feature. It sounds like you may have a malware infestation. See the following article.
