My Firefox won't load a lot of pages properly.
Hello.
I suddenly had this problem with my Firefox a few days ago.
A lot of pages won't load properly. Unless, I re-enter the URL again, then it magically loads (the whole page completely) but then disappears again (since re-entering is refreshing) and starts to load again!
I tried loading the same page using Internet Explorer, but it failed to load too. That's why at first, I thought it was just an ISP problem, but when I tried loading the same page on another computer connected to the same network (using Firefox too), it loaded completely without any problems.
I don't know what's wrong with my Firefox, and I don't know why this suddenly happened.
I tried all the steps from this link (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can) but to no avail.
I also tried resetting Firefox, but still, nothing happened. :(
Anybody knows what should I do?

Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings and disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
(If you're using an added theme, switch to the Default theme.)
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu by clicking on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item:
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Thank you.
Hello.
I set my Firefox to never remember history, and I also cleared the cache already, but that didn't work.
I tried opening Firefox in Safe Mode, but that didn't work either. :(
Thank you for the quick response.
Additional detail:
Some pages load, but they don't stop loading at all.
I saw this link (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-show-spinning-wheel-never-finish-load) and tried the given help, but it doesn't work. I tried 3 different anti-viruses and no malware was found. I also tried disabling-enabling JavaScript using the said add-ons, but showed no results. :(
I wonder what's wrong? I tried resetting my modem and router and even troubleshooted my network connection. Still, no changes.
Help, please. Thanks!
Did you check your security software (firewall, anti-virus) to make sure that it isn't blocking content?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if this helps.
I'm also having the same problem where the page doesn't stop loading! This might be due to this bug? Looks like it's not going away anytime soon.
