Bookmark recovery after firefox got deleted from computer.

I recently had to refresh my computer and when I restarted it firefox had gotten deleted, which means all my bookmarks got deleted too. I redownloaded firefox and I was wondering if there was any way to get my bookmarks back. I do not remember if I signed up for an account before this happened.

If you haven't done a clean re-install of your OS you can get your bookmarks back See this: Recover lost or missing Bookmarks

More over for future, please use Firefox Sync feature to Synchronize your bookmarks, history, passwords, add-ons and open tabs with another copy of Firefox.

Under the file labeled bookmarkbackups its empty does that mean they are lost?
