You can enable Sync for logins and passwords on Firefox desktop, so you can access your logins across other synced devices.

Before you begin: Sign up for a free Mozilla account if you don't already have one.

Set up automatic sync

  1. Click the Firefox menu Fx89menuButton button and select Settings.
  2. Click Sync menu option from the menu options to open the sync settings panel (you might need to sign in first to be able to make any changes). If the Sync panel shows:
    • Syncing: ON, click Change…
    • Syncing: OFF, click Turn on syncing… to turn Sync on, if Sync has been disabled.
  3. In the Choose What To Sync box that opens, put a check mark next to Logins and passwordsPasswords.

Force a manual sync

  2. Click Sync Now.
