I have a Hotmail account setup on Thunderbird for some years and that is working good. I have setup an Outlook email account on Thunderbird but am not getting any emails and Inbox is the only folder on the account. Thunderbird goes through the send etc information at bottom of screen but message comes up saying "User is authenticated but not connected". How do I solve this problem.

This Outlook account works fine using Windows sign in.

Using Windows 10 and Thunderbird is up to date.

What can you do about it?

account.apps.progressive.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Probably nothing, since it’s likely there’s a problem with the site itself.

Hello, Ever since Firefox updated to the newest version for my IMAC, I can NO LONGER WATCH A FULL VIDEO on YouTube. The video will start, and then after about 10-20 seconds, it just stops. The red timeline on the video stops because there is a white timeline underneath it that doesn't seem to move once the video loads up. I have to click just a little ways up the timeline, and the video will continue to play for maybe another 10 seconds. Once the red timeline catches up with the white timeline underneath it, the video stops again, and I just get the spinning circle. I can continue to click about 1/4 inch away from the red timeline, and the video plays for 5-10 seconds and stops again. For some reason, the video relies on the white timeline to always be ahead of the red one. Once the red catches up with the white one, the video stops. For some reason, when the video is first loaded, the white timeline is just a little ways down the line, and it does not move. When the red catches up to where the white line stops, the video stops. I can click just a very short distance in front of the white timeline, and it will move to the area I clicked. Then you can hit play, and the video will continue to play till the red line catches up to where the white line was and the video stops again. HELP. I am forced to use Safari because of this, and Firefox has always worked better than Safari till now.

I was having some trouble with an email account. I deleted and re-added the account. As this is my primary email account, it was at the top of my account listing. After adding it back, it is now at the bottom of the list. I opened Account Settings and dragged the account to the top. When I departed Account Settings, the account still shows at the bottom of the list. I tried moving the top accounts down. I tried moving other email accounts up or down. All of them remain in the same order when I exit Account Settings. I did read somewhere that I need to accept or otherwise indicate that I confirm the new account order before leaving Account Settings. I cannot see any button in Account Settings that allows me to do this. I just X-out of Account Settings. I would very much appreciate any suggestions. Thank you !

Firefox doesn't always correctly detect the "Follow device theme" setting. In such cases, you have to switch the mode twice in Android for it to be recognized correctly.

Unbeknownst to myself, I have been using Firefox for the greater part of a year without formally signing in. I've had a Mozilla account for some time, so I simply logged in and thought nothing of it. A few days later I tried to fetch a password for a service I use and noticed that all of my passwords were gone. I've tried going to about:profiles and trying both profiles listed, with no luck. I've checked my Desktop for any file dump, but no luck there either. Any advice would be appreciated!

I recently clicked a like on a reply to one of my questions on this help forum and then somehow I also clicked on dislike as I was scrolling through the reply so I clicked the dislike again thinking this would remove the dislike but instead it added another dislike to the person who replied to my question I did not think is was possible to add mulitple likes and dislikes to the same person but it appears this is what I have done is it possible to remove the likes and dislikes you have added and if so how do you go about removing them. Thanks.

I cannot download my emails from my comcast account on my laptop when I am using my mozilla thunderbird account. However, I can download them on my iphone. When I attempt to download onto my laptop, I get a warning stating I need to update my comcast password.

I'm trying to set up our Thunderbird account on a new laptop. I can't seem to do it. It does recognize our email address but I possibly can't remember the right password to continue.

I have a situation where I need to access an email but it seems to be invisible.

It's supposed to be in the Inbox, and when I do a search the results show it is there, yet it doesn't display or is otherwise accessible. The email dates from 2020.

Not all the time, but enough to be annoying. I delete a message with an attachment and get a message the the attachment will be deleted before I can delete the message. See following image. Running an iMac, 10.14.6. Thanks, Gary

Thunderbird won't start. The framework is there, but "No message found" is displayed and TB is not responding. So I did a backup copy of the current profile, then downloaded and installed (with "Upgrade") 128.7.1esr.exe But the result is the same. What next?

This may have been due to an automatic upgrade to my Windows 11? See attached image.
