I have reset my junk sensor; I have re-started learning. I have "Unsubscribed" (no effect)

The only SPAM I get usually is from dealbistro.com. I mark it as SPAM every time, and have marked considerable numbers of other mails as not SPAM.

However, Thunderbird continues to ignore my selections, and presents dealbistro emails EVERY TIME.

I cannot find anywhere a way to specify explicitly that dealbistro emails are SPAM. Can anyone please help?

Use filter to mark them as spam. Despite many protestations to the contrary by folks desirous of declaring certain senders as spam, the spam filter does not look at the sender as a relevant consideration.

After you have been receiving spam from yourself for a while you will understand why the from is ignored.
