I would like to ask your help. It has been a few days that I have lost my folders in my thunderbird account. The problem is that it was my academic email, in which I had all my messages categorized by subject and I had enough space at my email box. Alos, I have not deleted anything and I am sorry to noticed it a few days ago; could it happened longer, I really don't know. It is crusial for me to find my messages and I would be obliged if you could help me.

Is there anyone with the same issue as me?

What type of account is this (POP, IMAP)?

You may be experiencing an issue similar to the one described in the following article, i.e. Thunderbird may be using the wrong profile for some reason (not necessarily the same reason as in the article), in which case you may solve the problem by telling Thunderbird to use the right profile:
