Is it possible to initiate the same process that discovers the server setting when you add an email account in an already existing email account to avoid making changes in the account manually??

Firefox flashes a white screen when loading a new page. This is a known issue. Is there a way to make it stop?

I see numerous people looking for answers (on mozilla, on stackoverflow, on superuser, on reddit, and on mozillazine), and I see no answers that work.

Is there a solution that works?

Does anyone know why Mozilla programs this in? (Is there a way to ask Mozilla directly?)

Firefox has been the only browser for me over the years, allowing customizations that free me from the frustrations of Chrome, Safari, et al. But why this flashbang, as kartana put it on reddit?

After Win11 update, Firefox started to just show "Gah. Your tab just crashed." I've uninstalled multiple times from MS Store and also direct from website. No luck. Safe mode works fine. My normal mode does not work even when all the addons, etc are disable. I'm a simple user with no customisations of the FF browser.

Tried new profiles, untick performance, etc.

I've even tried restore win11 update to an earlier date. Same result.

Other browsers work fine but I want to support Mozilla. I'm at the point of switching to another.

I had to reset my firefox password. When signing in, the account is not synced (no extensions, history, bookmarks etc) and acts like it is the fresh instance. When manually syncing, it spins for a second then stops. Says it last synced 1 second ago. I see no data otherwise. Does resetting password seriously remove all data? What is the point of recovering the account if it gives you a fresh account anyway? There was a disclosure that mentioned some data, but not even including bookmarks or extensions is a little upsetting for me. Disrupted my work day quite a lot.

hello I use FF 132.0.2 (64- Bit) and Proton VPN version 3.4.3. since one of the latest updates of FF the connection to the WEB is terrible slow. I tried the Troubleshooting mode and the reset of FF, there is no improvement. Other browers do not have this problem and without running VPN the speed of FF is as it should be. thanks and sorry for my German Englisch HI

I am currently running Firefox on desktop (128.4.0esr) version.

The last few addons that I have installed are not working properly. Or rather, they work just fine, but when I close Firefox and re-open it later, they seem to fail to actually enable. I must go to the about:addons page, disable the addon, and then re-enable it for it to actually work. If I do not do this, it will not be on my toolbar, and the Extensions sidebar button does not show the addon in the list. It's as if it isn't properly installed.

After reading this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1420017 I thought maybe my extensions db got corrupted somehow, so I followed their instructions and deleted the extensions.databaseSchema config. And wouldn't you know it, it worked! Once I restarted Firefox, I saw some notifications in the main sidebar menu and was greeted with this: Notifications Once I clicked through them and enabled, everything seemed fine.

However after closing firefox again, the problem comes back. Those exact extensions that I manually approved upon restarting are the ones that are giving me troubles and not enabling properly. An interesting thing I noticed is that these all seem to be extensions that require additional permissions. I enabled the addon and gave them the permissions they requested, so I don't know why they are failing to enable properly on startup.

I want to permanently fix the problem

I've noticed since a few upgraded of Firefox tat I am having an issue loading my local uTorrent GUI at: https://192.168.0.xxx:36724/gui/index.html. I am currently using 132.0.2 x64 and it eventually loads after 3-4 minutes. There are absolutely zero add-ons at the moment, and it does not matter if it is a portable version or standard installed version. I do not seem to have this issue while using Firefox (latest) ESR portable version.

Is there something I'm missing here? I am not sure if it is the port that's the issue with Firefox, because I have a local website using port 9090 and 8080 without any issues on loading. Also, it is happening with the nightly version of FF as well. All other browsers load quickly.

After switching to Mozilla Firefox from Google chrome I am facing a issue which I cant solve. Whenever i try to send message in https://www.facebook.com/ it shows "Couldn't send". So i though it face Facebook's problem , but after trying this same in the google chrome , it was working smoothly , no issues. Please fix this

why is there no way to select audio/video/ microphone input or output? . my headset dies all the time and i would like to change in firefox which output the audio should go into. while skullcandys headphones firmware sucks, firefox has the wherewithal to have a device settings section where i can choose which device has which input and output

I cannot pin the extension to the toolbar. The extension is not shown in the puzzle icon dropdown, and it is not in the overflow. Please add an automatic pin to the toolbar when a new extension is added! How do I pin it now?

When navigating to msn.com/en-us, and about 5S after the page loads, the majority of the page is covered with an ad. This only happens when using an ExpressVPN Santa Monica connection (most reliable and fastest).

If I use another VPN server location the problem is not present. Additional information: - Location: Dongguan, China - Using Google Chrome does not cause a problem. - ExpressVPN have no solution or explanation at this time. The VPN app is set to block ads but this does not help - If I connect using Surfshark there is no problem. - OS is WIN10 64-bit fully updated. - Equipment is an Asus notebook. - This issue has only appeared on or about 5 Nov which is around the time Firefox updated. - I have updated manually but no luck.

Hello, I am running Firefox on a W10-Pro PC. I always click the lock to check certificate validation. In the last month I keep seeing "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla".

When I click for more information I see that "Norton Web/Mail Shield" does not recognize the certificate issuer. When I click on Learn More it takes me to a Firefox site "How to disable the Enterprise Roots preference" I also checked W10 certmgr.msc and I see Norton is listed. Images included below. How can one avoid this freezing of Firefox when protecting from Android to laptop pc via Samsung flow?

I started with Firefox in 2000. I listed my email as [edited] @sbcglobal.net. It appears that company was bought out by another provider (ATT?). I need to remove sbcglobal and replace it with a new email address but to do so I need a code, but Mozilla will only send it to the sbcglobal site. How can I change? Thanks in advance
