Hello, seen this a couple times in the forums but my situation is a bit different. Using Thunderbird 128.7.0esr on Windows 10 and I get the attached message occasionally when dismissing or snoozing a calendar reminder, sometimes multiple ones at once. It appears to be random and happens with different events. Only unique thing with me is this calendar is not synced or tied with an email address, it is solely local to my PC and it is managed, edited and added to almost weekly. I do have it backed up but don't want to mess with any settings until guidance is provided, I rely on this very heavily.

Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have Firefox 113 installed as a .deb, and it works fine, but it is prompting me that I need to update soon.

I have Firefox 135 installed as a snap, and it does not work reliably. In many cases I need to open V113, or use Chromium browser, to access a site.

It is slow, starting to load a site and then never finishing. It won't access certain websites. It randomly locks up. It does not recognize mouse clicks.

Sorry to ask such a generic question, but are others also having issues trying to use V135, or is there something wrong with my system?

I have been having intense issues with Firefox over the last 2 weeks. Firefox windows freeze then crash, tabs randomly crash sometimes it just closes with no crash or anything.

Running Firefox in trouble shoot mode also crashes I have tried reinstalling and refreshing. Clear of all virus or malware. Fresh graphics install and drivers

Provide me with information to be able to access URLs without "www." notation, or advise me on browser/VPN/both settings to allow access to these "non-www." websites.

I have a banking site that works on firefox, yet this firefox does not accept password saving or user id savings. Though it does every other site I have used, except this one. Any ideas what is going on with that?

why does firefox perform badly with paramount streaming? it doesn't happen netflix or amazon or apple etc This does not happen with other browsers such as chrome

Firefox needs to be restarted each day, and still has stalling, repeating and stopping during any paramount stream

Will this ever be fixed?

I'm on a Mac (10.14.6) with Firefox version 115.20.0esr. I can't go any higher on the Mac OS.

I'm having trouble printing invoices. When it prints it changes any number amount on the invoice to a bunch of periods or commas (see screen shot). Most words print, but some words are also replaced by periods or commas.

Invoices are about the only thing I ever need to print out of Firefox, but when I do print other pages as a test, they seem to print everything just fine.

If I make a pdf instead of actually printing, it does the same thing. This is difficult because I need these for my expense report for work.

I'm attaching a screen shot. I added the black boxes to cover personal information.

My printer refuses to print a colored slogan. I have tried and retried, but for some reason it refuses. I have enough ink, so that's not the problem. And now my printer is asking for me to enter a login URL from my phone. HELP, please!!

I am trying to print a slogan directly from computer to printer, but it refuses to print the slogan I need. Now I have a message on the printer saying "the login URL has expired. Please try again. How/where do I enter the login URL? And why won't it print the slogan?

I am new to Thunderbird. I have gotten fed up with Kmail in KDE for Linux, it is basically useless since it does not allow any of the modern login protocols required by MS and Google.

One thing Kmail did do, was start in the background so it was always periodically checking for mail and indicating new messages in the icon and notification in the desktop toolbar. So you didn't have to have it running in the foreground as a running application.

How can you do that with Thunderbird? I tried an experiment by closing Thunderbird down and sending emails to accounts I have setup but no notifications appeared until I restarted the app in the foreground.

I’m writing to report an issue I’ve encountered with Firefox on my Mac M2. When I double-click the window’s title bar, the window does not maximize or “fill” the screen as expected. In contrast, other applications (such as Chrome) correctly respond to this action based on the macOS setting ("Double-click a window's title bar to: zoom").

Here are a few details that might help in diagnosing the issue:

   Troubleshooting Attempted:
       I verified the system setting under System Preferences → Dock & Menu Bar is set to “zoom”.

I’m wondering if this behavior is expected with the current Firefox design on macOS, or if it might be a bug. Any insights or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Thunderbird 128 (any version) on a Surface Pro 9 running Windows 11. After sleep/hibernate or going into energy-saving mode, TB hangs for a period of minutes. Eventually it comes back, but it can take 5-10 minutes.

I do not have this problem with TB 115 on the same machine, or TB 128 on other machines (e.g. running Windows 10 or Ubuntu). TB 115 on the same machine can take a few seconds to come back (longer than on my other machines), but that s OK.

I have the same expereince whether or not I am troubleshoot mode. I have created a new profile with no add-ons (and less acounts) and I have the same problem. I was wondering if it is something to do with the fact that I have 8000 folders, and somehow TB is hanging while it checks all the folders. That account is a fastmail IMAP connection, but I have experienced similar on a backup Microsoft Exchange account (again an IMAP connection) with similar number of folders.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been an evangelical Firefox user for over 20 years now, and rarely have any problems. However... every day, I read The Times online (my mother gets a free digital subscription with her paper version), and they've recently changed their site radically.

So it's probably not a FF problem, but The Times people aren't helpful.

Anyway, as I scroll down the index page, I usually <CTRL> click on potentially interesting articles, to open them in separate tabs. When I have a few open, I go through them and read each one in turn.

With the new Times version, when I do this, the index page also changes to the one I've selected for the new tab, which is annoying. I asked their support people about it, but their reply was that <CTRL> click "isn't supported".

Obviously this is disappointing, as it's how I've always done things, and it still works on every other website I visit!

Can anything be done in FF to make it work?

Hi. I encountered a problem when browsing previous pagr after google search in android version of Firefox. The procedure for reproducing the problem is described bellow.

Environment: 135.0.1 (Build #2016074239), hg-7c2ff1aa3394+ GV: 135.0.1-20250216192613 AS: 135.0.1 Pixel 6a(Android 15)

Procedure: 1. Search any word(such as "test a") with google. 2. Tap any link showed in searching result. 3. Perform "previous page" gesture(horizontal swipe at edge of the screen), then searching result of "test" is shown. 4. Search another word(such as "test b") with google search bar of google website, not search bar of Firefox. 5. Tap any link showed in searching result. 6. Perform "previous page" gesture(horizontal swipe at edge of the screen).

Expected result: Searching result page of "test b" is shown.

Actual result: Searching result page of "test a" is shown.

Other informations: - This doesn't happen with other searching engine. - This do happen without extensions - This also happen in private session - Clearing cache solve this problem for a while but this happen again soon. - This doesn't happen in PC browsing mode

I encountered the same phenomenon when I searched the word that I've searched before. So I doubt that google search and cache algorithm of Firefox is not compatible.

Hi, for the past couple of weeks firefox is causing the GPU to block firefox when trying to play a youtube short preview by hovering over the short. The screen goes white and then returns and it happens again if you leave the cursor over the short. After a few of these, the message comes up that the GPU (nvidia in this case) acceleration has blocked access to firefox. This will happen every time. The issue doesn't occur in chrome. The issue doesn't occur if firefox is started in troubleshoot mode. If I run in regular mode and manually disable my one extension (keeper) and the two plugins - widevine codec and cisco openh264 codec, the issue will still occur. I have no other add-ins. I have updated firefox and the nvidia drivers to the most current. The gpu is nvidia geforce 940mx with intel hd graphics 620. I am running 64bit windows 10 home on an hp envy laptop with i7 chip. Any ideas? Thanks.

After upgrade on iMac to Sequioa, my search bar no longer will show results for longer than a nano-second. Have tried to reach out to Apple Care but they are unable to help since not their product. Hard to describe - screen sharing is optimum if able :)
