Print Preview shows empty page

When I want to print something, I go to print preview to see what it looks like. When I do this, the window is empty - the message does not show up. If I try to print it anyway, I get a blank page. I figure I have a setting wrong but no idea as to what. Any Suggestions?

Found the answer - the left margin on the page was set to 10 inches. Also, the right one was also. 

I would think that if I said the paper was 8.5 x 11 and the right and left margins were 10 inches, TB would catch this as an error and not allow it.  I would think that an error message would pop up indicating the inconsistency.
