Is there a setting (eg auto save) I have overlooked?
Thunderbird V31.1.1 Sometimes the same email will appear many times in the "Drafts" folder long after it has been sent, they mostly all have the same "created time"

From the menu bar select Tools-Options-Composition-General The first check box is the auto save settings.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.
