Why isn't Firefox working after the automatic update to 32.0.2?

After the update, I opened Firefox and the homepage came up, but it won't connect to any other page. I tried resetting Firefox. Not sure what to do next. The green circle on the tab just keeps spinning. I'm wishing that I hadn't installed the update. Thanks.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.
