Hello,

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be helpful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. To recover them, follow the instructions below.

1. Click the Bookmarks button and select Show All Bookmarks.
2. At the top of the Library window, click on Import and Backup and select Restore.
3. Click the date of the bookmark backup you want to recover.
4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
5. Your bookmarks from the selected date should now be restored.

Totally solved my problem - found the lost bookmark I was looking in vain for. So thank you, thank you for providing me a quick and comprehensive solution!

Note that if you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) to get them back. That is only possible if you haven't closed Firefox.

Thanks for your response; however I was never able to find the tabs you refer to, i.e., Organize > Undo. Did get instructions I could follow and solved my problem.

That tab can be found by going to:

• Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
• In the Library window, "Organize" can be found at the top left side (should be two entries to the left of "Import and Backup")
• One of the options after clicking on "Organize" is "Undo"

I actually didn't know that it would also undo changes done outside of that dialog box - we all learn something new everyday :-)
