New windows come up -behind- Firefox if it is open rather than in front as before - why?
With Firefox open on screen, opening a new window puts the new window behind Firefox rather than in front of it as it always has done. Version 35.0.1.

Let me answer my own question. Can't say why this happened, but it was cured by using the "refresh firefox" button on the support website.
