Firefox sometimes does not save bookmarks on OSX Yosemite with NFS Home Folders. Removing the places.sqlite and places.sqlite.journal temporarily allows the saving again. Firefox always Shows the the Bookmark in the Menu when added, but looses them on restart. If Firefox is opened on Console no error message related to sqlite saving or corrupted places.sqlite are shown. Firefox 35 and 37 show this behavior. This happens on multiple Computers and Users.

This still sounds like a (severe) corruption of the places.sqlite file.

Does Places Maintenance show any problems with the places.sqlite file?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Hi

Places Maintenance does not show any errors. It says the places.sqlite db is Coherent Still Bookmarks get lost.

I have been testing some further with a fresh profile on a virgin maschine. It takes some restarts before the Problem starts to occur. I had most success triggering it, when i deleted Bookmarks, restarted and then tried to add them again.
