"Search Mozilla Support" function on this page is not working.
I had typed in "All Bookmarks" on a previous visit, so it appears in the drop down box, but when I type the first letter: "A", it comes back with 1000 instances of the letter "A". I can't get it to search for the full 2 words.

There is a known bug with the live search, especially on slow internet connections. Unfortunatly there are hundreds of open bugs relating to the support site. The standard search also has many known issues including using boolean OR so the more words you add the worse the results.
Try the advanced search instead.
- /search/advanced
- See Using Advanced Search the articles and feature may not be well linked, more known bugs.
- The current interface is a nightmare to use but some example searches
- forum all bookmarks
- forum advanced both words
- forum (advanced string) all bookmarks
- KB bookmarks
Probably only the last search is anything like sane, and you will need to cut down the hits by being more specific.
Note we probably also have maybe about 50 Knowledge Base (firefox desktop) articles with bookmarks in the title and about 100 in all
Also look at the simple listing on page
Can we help you ?
Are you just trying to point out bugs in our support system site, or are you looking for some advice, help or article ?
Using the advanced search worked well, thanks. It is odd how many other search engines on the net do not respect the quote marks, giving all instances of "All" and all instances of "Bookmarks"..
You weren't just looking for your last post were you.
- New folder: "All Bookmarks" appeared. Can't get rid of it /questions/1065266
I assume when you say the folder appeared, you are looking at the contents of the bookmarks manager|library
Firefox Sync is notorious for corrupting and duplicating bookmarks if you opt to sync bookmarks. Especially if any of these apply: it is a slow internet connection, there are a large number of changes, or you have a very large number of bookmarks (expect it to fail if over 5000 bookmarks are involved )
