I am getting thousands of duplicate emails from years past and thunderbird is crashing
Can't send or receive email because it says mailbox is full even after I delete 15000 email that came in. This is happening for more then person.

Do you compact the folders after emptying the trash? You should compact regularly. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keep_it_working_-_Thunderbird
