FF has blocked adobe flash. I use linux. how do i force FF to unblock my flash and stop making decisions for me?
just started this morning and it is annoying to the max. every site i go to has flash on it somewhere. i use linux. flash has no new update for linux. this is not my browsers decision to make. please tell me how to unblock the adobe flash addon permanently and then how to tell FF to stop checking this for me. my linux handles all my updates as needed including those for my browser. i don't need or want FF to second guess my settings or my chosen security level.

All flash plugins are disabled for security flaws.
I am aware of that. I want to enable them again.
I solved it. Proceed at your own risk
Open new Tab Navigate to about:config Accept security warning Change extensions.blocklist.enabled to false Restart browser This prevents firefox from checking the blocklist you have configured at extensions.blocklist.detailsURL
thankyou!
Adobe updated their Flash player Plugins today for Windows and Mac OSX however they have not updated the plugin based version for Linux yet as it is still 11.2.202.481

Mozilla blocks versions of Plugins and Extensions when it is of serious security, malware and stability concerns. Unfortunately there has been many critical vulnerabilities found with Flash player since December as Flash player versions was not blocked for a long time before.
