My email and phone emails are linked. When I delete junk mail in one application, I would like for it to delete in the other. My emails are thru earthlink.
I have an iphone and those settings link my phone to my emails on Thunderbird, and are set up correctly. Is there something I have to do in Thunderbird to make sure that when I delete emails they also are deleted on my phone, or vice versa?

You say it is set correctly. I doubt that if it is not just happening.
For sunchronisation to work you need to have IMAP accounts set up on both devices. Is this the case?
