That are hangs in the Shockwave Flash plugin.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:
http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
- disable hardware acceleration in Firefox

I have done all that ( sorry I did not include in original post)
Hi, it does look like a problem with Shockwave Flash, but first try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

If that doesn't help, try uninstalling Flash - see here.
Then reinstall - see here.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
still crashes in safe mode... bp-a6bb92a7-89d3-4875-b8dc-993112150802 8/1/2015 7:42 PM

That are still problems with the Flash plugin.
Did you try to disable protected mode in the Flash plugin?
if I disable it, then I cannot watch my shows..... it is required for the things I do and when I disable it, I get the notice saying it is required.
This is not about disabling the Flash plugin, but about disabling a special feature called protected mode that is used by this plugin.
In Windows Vista and Windows 7 and later you can toggle this pref to true on the about:config page to disable protected mode in the Shockwave Flash plugin, so it is no longer needed to modify the mms.cfg file in Firefox 36 and later.
- dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable-protected-mode = true
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
See this article about protected-mode in the Flash plugin:
How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
Sorry, yes, that is what I meant. I am not watching shows right now; if it starts doing it again, then I will post the errors again. TY
and it begins yet agin.. even with all fixes suggested above done.... sigh

I give up; you would think with all the people that suffer this issue that Mozilla would find a fix.
Did you already disable hardware acceleration in Firefox?
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
I have the hardware acceleration turned off; one of the first things I did.
SO, my thread has been hijacked... LOL
I have windows 7 (64) so cant relate to your Vista issues or resolves....
Hi Gtks
Could you please create a new thread for your question instead of posting in an existing thread.
Firstly, Thanks so much cor-el. I was getting more confused with info not dealing with my system. That said; SO, I have all things as suggested and in safe mode and it still crashes, but not as often. I forgot to hit send report last time, so next time it does, I will post that report link. and to Gtks, the bp error links provide all the info regarding my system needed....

Look, thanks but I have no idea what you are talking about. I am not a technician, I am a simple laptop user. You are not helping me at all, just confusing the issue as nothing you are saying makes sense to me nor do I know how you are saying to do will affect my computer. And, I do not have the issues you have; The only issue I have is flash crashing when I watch TV online. If some Mozilla tech tells me to do what you say to fix the issue, then ok, I will BUT I do not know you from adam, so I am sorry, but I just won't as I once let someone "fix" my last brand new laptop and they messes it up so bad it had to be returned to the factory to be fixed.
