Since a recent T'bird update, when I switch screens to another app and then switch back to T'Bird, the entire screen goes blank white. I have to close T'bird using the Task Mgr. I can then reopen it. Also, after this update, when I go to write an email, the mouse cursor needs to be moved to a little below the actual icon for it to activate it. Very strange. Tried a reinstall and it didn't help. Suggestions?

Thanksl

Good question and point as I recently changed to AVG aside from the t'Burd update. Do I need to change a setting?

I am not sure, but try restarting the computer in safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. While in that mode the resident part of the anti virus will be disabled and you can see if the issue is apparent. That will at least pont us one way or the other.

Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
