I am not sure it will be enough, but try this:
- Type about:config in the address bar and enter
- Accept the warning
- Type devtools.browserconsole in the search box
- Check that any line is not bold (you should have 19 lines).
- If one line is bold, double-click on it to inverse the value
- Close the about:config tab
Can you attach a screenshot?
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
As far as I know, the built-in consoles (web console in the tab, browser console in a separate window) do not give that warning when you just use them normally because in fact websites can't see what you do in those consoles.
Is there a new add-on called Web Console that you installed, or does one of your extensions have such a feature?
