findbar tweak doesn't work
I have downloaded findbar tweak... and it never worked. Today I received notice the findbar tweak was better than ever and updated... still doesn't work Downloaded it again... still doesn't work Some pages you can't even get findbar to appear ReaLLY... i swear I used to use findbar on every site for research.. But then you UPDATED the browser a year or so ago..;. OH MY WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT... firefox crashes every day, sometimes 3-4 times a day... both on my computer and my wife's computer.... and of course the findbar disappeared... rendering the browser useless for research So now I use chrome alongside firefox,,, and their stupid findbar is just as useless, but chrome doesn't crash and freeze every day..
I ask once a week in a google search... when will they fix firefox... keep hoping somebody will post real information.. Oh yeah, turn off add-ons, or yeah clear cashe (every hour?), oh yeah BS
And today.. I get a message with big green checkmark notify9ing the FINDBAR is updated... STILL DOESN'T WORK And PLEASE don't email the 'answer page' where 'the solution can be located' ... , because you've sent that before, and I've been there half dozen times, AND THE ANSWERS DON'T WORK...
So I am asking a question:: God, will somebody please fix firefox? And fix the findbar tweak?

Ok you gave me link to github... I dont want to design build and ship software... \ The find bar tweak doesn't work Never has worked I have downloaded and redownloaded, and mozilla updated it a few days ago

3rd party developers develop the vast super-majority of all extensions. Mozilla personnel have developed few add-on extensions themselves - and those can be counted on two hands. And they are not released by Mozilla directly, but rather as independent developers
You may not want to participate in software development or bug reporting, but without your input the developer won't be aware of what you think is wrong with that extension. If you read About this Add-on on the download page for FindBar Tweak you would have seen an email address for that developer; use it to at least report your issues with it and make Luis aware of your issues.
