Used to be able to set up a command something like Extract from Selected Messages on one of the menus at the top. You set it up and when click on the menu option it sends the attachment to the folder you identified. I had this set up in previous version.

So how do I do this again? I can't even find the menu at top. I hate this Chrome like thing with all the previous menus jammed under the icon of 3 tiny lines on the right. AWFUL! Can I rest Thunderbird menus at top ion toolbar to the old and much better view?

Sounds like some add on you installed. I have no experience with it. Go to the add ons page and do a search.

Go to View-Toolbars and turn the old toolbars back on.

I knew I should have not asked 2 questions in one email. You did not answer my major concern..
