More than one subject appears in the same thread but both subjects have similar lists of senders.
The question says it all. When one group of people starts chiming in on two subjects, all the responses appear in a single thread. How do I get Thunderbird to thread by subject only?

Set the pref mail.strict_threading to false via Config Editor. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor

Set the pref mail.strict_threading to false via Config Editor. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor
Followed instructions and found the file with preferences. Changed the mail.strict threading to false, restarted Thunderbird but the threading is unchanged.
