ghostery problem solved in Dec. '15 has surfaced again: resource://firefox-at-ghostery-dot-com/ghostery/data/options.html fails to open- ghostery5.4.11 FF44.0.2

When trying to open ghostery preferences at resource://firefox-at-ghostery-dot-com/ghostery/data/options.html FF says (in a new tab) FILE NOT FOUND "Firefox can't find the file at resource: ...(see above) Details: Mac OS X Firefox 44.0.2 new version of ghostery 5.4.11 today Feb.21 2016

+ Fixes issues where the options page is blank in the old Ghostery panel + Fixes conflict with AdBlockPlus in Firefox 43

(December 20, 2015) Anyone else here experiencing the problem that Ghostery cannot be configured under FF43? Ghostery still works, but the options window <resource://firefox-at-ghostery-dot-com/ghostery/data/options.html> stays blank. Returning to FF42 doesn't make it work again. On another pc, where I've left FF42 untouched, Ghostery's options still work.

As I recall, the primary problem was fixed by a new version of AdBlockPlus, BUT no way to know if it is AdBlockPlus again

They should be able to provide support for their software and possible help fix the issue that you are having.
