For a couple of weeks now I have seen msn.com load up in Firefox without any input from me. My homepage is set to feedly.com and it works just fine. But, the loading of msn.com appears to be random and I'm not sure what is causing it. Such as, this evening I went into another room to watch a movie, streamed from my computer over the wi-fi. There were no running programs on my system other than the ones in the system tray, such as TVersity, Plex, Synchredible, Panda virus and a couple of others. When I came back to the computer a couple of hours later, Firefox had opened by itself and there was the msn.com page. This can also happen while I am browsing at random times and without me requesting that the browser go there. I've searched the web and Mozilla pages for the past few days and I can't find a solution. I did upgrade to Windows 10 a couple of months ago, but this more recent than that. Any ideas?

Hi dgcasey, I am wondering if Firefox never closed? After you close Firefox does it still show up in the Task Manager for a while?

If so, Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix has some good troubleshooting tips. However if it continues to happen maybe Firefox has been added as a start up program in the operating system settings?
