I'm receiving messages but all of the sudden they don't show in the summary.
My messages download ok but I can't see them in the summary. If I click on a line, the message itself appears below, so I know they are downloading, but I don't know why they don't appear in the summary. Solution?

if you have no heading like subject and date.
click the square icon on what would normally be the right end of the heading bar (Above the up down arrows.
Otherwise, right click the folder name and select properties and then the repair button.

What does 'in the summary' mean?
This refers to the "inbox" - messages are usually summarized and list the subject, who the email is from, etc . This info doesn't show now.
My inbox is blank now. Although a light blue band will highlight the area where the message usually shows and if I click on it, the message will appear in the lower portion of the page.
