I have two issues. My messages are automatically changing to unread and after a day they are completely disappearing. Please help!

I went to Tools then Options and then Advanced. I unclicked the box that says to automatically mark messages as read. They are still being marked read without me touching anything. Suggestions?

Also, all my emails from before today have disappeared. Not sure where to begin on his one.

You might try this - Right Click on your INBOX, Select PROPERTIES then select REPAIR FOLDER. This *might* fix the visibility problem (not seeing emails) You can use this technique on any of your folders.

Not sure how to deal with the automatic reading problem....
