Firefox crashes
Fire Fox kept crashing on me and at one point it asked me if i wanted to log on as the "default user" or the other default user. Apparently i chose the wrong one because all of my important book marks are gone. How do i get back on the other "default user"?

Hmm, it's possible that your regular (default) profile was locked so Firefox created an alternate. It's worth a try to see whether you can get back into the old one. Here's how:
Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
This page may list one or more different profiles. The one you using right now will have this statement:
This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.
To try a different one, click the Set as default profile button below that profile, then scroll back up and click the Restart normally button. (There are some other buttons, but I think those are still "under construction" so please ignore them.)
Does that one have your lost settings?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

jscher2000, that is pretty much what happened. When it crashed for some reason it asked me to choose the default user and apparently i chose one not in use. Once i was able to locate the user choices i was then able to choose the "other default user" (which neither of which were named specifically) and bingo all my bookmarks came back. Thanks for the reply, wish i would have seen it sooner, it took me a minute to locate the user options.
