I need to rollback from the newly-installed Win10 v57.0 64b Firefox ... can you provide a link?

Unfortunately, Firefox Quantum does not play nicely with a number of my Add-Ins, one of which is critical to me.

Since there is no apparent "rollback" option, I would like to re-install the pre-v57.0 Firefox and periodically check on the Add-In versions to see if they have been updated for v57.0 prior to my moving to Quantum.

Would someone have a link to the pre-v57.0 64b Firefox that they can share with me?

Thank you!

Thank you, Tolkien.

With your link I was able to backtrack to the /win64/ version and download it.

Now I will keep my fingers crossed that I will be able to successfully install it over the new version and be back to where I was an hour ago.  :)

The 56.0.2 Install over 57.0 apparently worked ... at least, so far.  :)

Thanks again, Tolkien!

Forgot to mention Plugins don't work on FFx64 version.

The only NPAPI Plugin that is allowed to run since Firefox 52.0 Release (on Windows, Mac OSX, Linux) is the Flash Player Plugin from Adobe and it runs on Win64 Firefox just fine.

Tolkien is spreading misinformation, yes it works but ....

Going back : unfortunately 56.0.2 is no longer safe to use for every day use do to secuity issues, but 52.5.0 ESR is. It will continue to get security updates until May 2018, and you can download and install it from this page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be deleted or removed in any version update after May 2018.

You should make a backup of your Profile before going back and just because: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thank you for the help, Pkshadow.

Actually, Tolkien provided me with exactly what I required.

With the link to the 56.0.2 Install file, I was able to re-install over 57.0 which allowed me to create specific Add-Ins/Extensions backups ... something that I was unable to do originally due to the nature of the no-warning-that-it-will-not-work-with-your-critical-extension(s) 57.0 upgrade.

I then (re)updated to 57.0 and migrated that data/cfgs to alternate/upgraded Add-ins/Extensions.  :)

Glad that worked. Tolkien has now been banned for spread of misinformation and ....

Tokien's original response provided me a trail to the solution and I marked it as such.
