TB38.5.0 WinXP no notification when done looking for new email.

After uping to TB 38.5.0 from somewhere in the twenries, I notice that there is no "no mail found" message (or something like that ) when search for new messages finds none (you just wait until tired of waiting & assume). Also no progress bar on bottom border (actually no bottom border on window) No enumeration of trash articles. Please fix or get me back to my old TB.

Nothing to fix! You do appear however to have some features turned off, like the status bar.

View menu (alt+V) > Toolbars. Turn on everything listed. (5 toolbars and menu bars.)

Matt, That fixed most but still no enumeration of entries in trash. One must click it to see if any trash. Enumeration of inbox is fine.

In the top of the slider for the folder pane there is a little square widget thing. Click it and turn on the message counts for whatever folder counts you with to see. (unread, total and size of folder on disk are available.)
