Have set up Sync, and all my devices say they've synced, but no actual changes have occurred
Have old desktop, old laptop, new laptop (only a few days out of the box). Want to import bookmarks into new laptop via Sync. No luck.
Have Firefox accounts on all three, with same email and password. On the Firefox Account page on all of them, the button says 'Disconnect..." (which means they're all connected, right?) and the Sync settings for all of them have bookmarks, preferences, and logins checked. Both laptops have supposedly synced in the past 5 minutes (the desktop is being stubborn, but let that be).
No bookmarks are being imported into my new laptop, just the ones I created after downloading Firefox last night by going to websites and clicking the Bookmark icon.

It's fixed itself. Got all the same bookmarks on all computers. For some reason, it just needed a day or so to do its thing.

I've just synced the two laptops again, a minute apart. Opened the menu on each laptop, and next to my email on both laptops (same email on both), I hovered the cursor over the two-arrow circle. One says "Last sync: Saturday 1:24 PM", and the other says "Last sync: Saturday 1:25 PM". (Eastern USA time.) But once again, no actual syncing is taking place. No new bookmarks anywhere.

You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.
