Sync not syncing
Hello, i just changed HDD to SSD in my laptop, installed new Windows, instaled Firefox, logged in, it says synced, but i dont have my bookmarks, history, tabs, nothing.
If i look into Manage acccount -> Devices and apps -> There is current device synced and also previous device synced few hours ago, but nothing from previous device is synced. Before i wiped old HDD i checked everything, so all was synced (tabs, bookmarks, ...). When i did just system reinstal last time, it was syncing correctly.
Thank you for help.

So its normal that sync is not working? Thats not very nice. Iam very carefull about syncing, so i did backup of bookmarks before wiping drive, but everything else not. For now, for me it seems like switching to Chrome is best option for future.
Now i will try to recover formated HDD, it should be possible because i wiped it with fast formating, so only main table was deleted, but data are still there. If recovery would be sucessfull, i will try to use old firefox profile file to recover my data.
None of provided link was helpfull, i read them all before i wrote this question.
Sorry, as usual it is a computer. Never trust anything that is important to you. A hard drive failure would do the same thing. Cost me 700.00 to get it back. So ya. Hope you find it. Also if you are Syncing then why not use the data from the other device ?
If you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data.
If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer#w_connect-additional-devices-to-sync_
