What happened to the add tab plus icon?

more options

There is a similar thread out there, but it doesn't have a clear conclusion. I was simply using firefox like a normal person; but all of a sudden, the add a new tab "+"icon has disappeared. I found a way to add a new window, but I cannot figure out how to re-add the "new tab" "+" icon that should be at the very end of the tab bar.

Thank you.

Hi markkiester, the "+" new tab button should be after the last tab or, in Customize view, at the end of the tab bar.

Can you see a new tab icon on any other bar? If so, in Customize view, you can drag it back. Or you might need to reset your toolbars using the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom of that tab.

This article has more info on using Customize: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
