New tab opens a blank page with no URL?
Every time I try to open a new tab, it's just a blank page with nothing in the URL bar. I want it to display about:home. I'm not sure where to start looking to see what's causing this weird override, especially since I can't find any setting for what New Tabs open in the main Options page, but I do know that whatever the setting is, it got carried over when I synced my Firefox account.
What should I try troubleshooting first? Thanks.

HI, you have errors in your Video Card Drivers adapterDescription: Radeon(TM) RX 460 Graphics driverDate: 9-22-2017 failures: [u'CP+[GFX1-]: [D2D1.1] 4CreateBitmap failure Size(19800,30) Code: 0x80070057 X 3 times over.
I suggest you disconnect everything from Sync and fix the system that caused the error. No point in fixing it just to have it sync again and cause the issue. You need to figure out which system caused the issue.
Please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.2 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

The style of the about:home page has changed, it now looks like the new tab page. Does that mean both of them are blank for you?
If you have the "gear" (or "wheel" or "cog" or "sprocket") icon in the upper right corner of the page, you can use that to restore content to the page. Alternately, you can check this setting:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If the browser.newtabpage.enabled preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true
If you prefer a completely different new tab page, you could consider using an add-on. There are some that let you enter a web address, such as New Tab Override, and others that insert their own content.
Thank you everyone! While I didn't get to try jscher2000's solution, pkshadow's suggestion of simply disconnecting Add-Ons and Options being synced with my Firefox account and then reinstalling Firefox (while cleaning up leftover files) did the trick. The New Tab button finally opens about:home again instead of a blank white page.
