Fairly new issue, no new addons. When I open Gmail or Googlenews, most often I cannot click a mail link or a news link and need to open a new tab to the same page. Also my bookmarks toolbar does not function until the new tab is opened. Using Windows 7 64-bit SP1 Professional.

Hi, strange all around. There is suppose to be a scheduled update tomorrow to version 61. Would you care to hold off on any thing large to see if the update fixes the issue ?

Can try : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?
