Thunderbird spontaneously created two folders that contain the word "conflict". The original folder's name was used by Thunderbird, plus my email address, the word conflict, and a date stamp, and then a date and time stamp. I have lost the emails that were located in the original folder.

Please ask for screen images when you respond. For some reason, this posting web page will not load the pdf files I have created for this issue. Thank you.

I don't think this forum allows the upload of pdf files. Save your screenshot as a png file and upload that.

Who is the account provided by? I occasionally get "conflict" folders on an MS Exchange server where the account is accessed by both Outlook and Thunderbird.
