how get iphone contacts into thunderbird address book
I exported from the icloud all my contacts into a vcard file . then I opened thunderbird and imported this downloaded vcard file. All it get it 240 pictures of people (like contacts) but no contact information for each. I also saw to try an add on for contacts for thunderbird..I did so but cannot find where it is. Any help is appreciated. I have iphone 7 and Windows 10 all updated.

To import a single vcf file with multiple contacts or multiple vCards from icloud/ipad (vCard v. 3), install MoreFunctionsForAddressBook (TB 60 and lower), then in Address Book, Tools/MFFAB/Actions for contacts/Import vcard/vcf. Use Ctrl+A to select all for multiple vCards.

Oh my..I did not make note of it and of course cannot find it now. I was searching the Thunderbird help from others . I will keep looking. In the meantime, I tried again and did not "select all" from the icloud (240contacts) and selected only a dozen or so and it DID create a new address book with all these selected contacts information. Is there a limit to this vcard number of items? I guess I could do several exports and combine them later but that seems like a lot of work.
UPDATE: Embarassed to tell you how I fixed this. All these little people with no contact information were on the top of the list..I just accidentally scrolled down the page and after these no info people were all my contacts..IMAGINE!! I am still laughing after so long to try to fix something that did not need fixing. I deleted all the contacts that had no information (no idea where they come from and reappear if I export again from the cloud) and all is good. Only other issue is that the iphone export does not export phone numbers or picture information on the contact.
