Recently I notice that after browsing in a private window of Firefox and closing that window I can find a cache of that browsing in .cache/mozilla/Firefox/z39yd8n9.dev-edition-default/cashe2/entries folder. There are images that I saw only in private browsing. And this is not private, and other files.

Sounds that Firefox actually wasn't in PB mode if there was session data stored in the profile folder. In PB mode session data should be kept in memory and not saved to the profile folder.

Do tabs in the PB mode window have a Private Browsing label ?

Yes. I open a new Private window and there was a Private Browsing label and the message as usually: "You’re in a Private Window

Firefox Developer Edition clears your search and browsing history when you quit the app or close all Private Browsing tabs and windows. While this doesn’t make you anonymous to websites or your internet service provider, it makes it easier to keep what you do online private from anyone else who uses this computer. Common myths about private browsing"

But after closing the window I suddenly found pictures that I saw only in a private window stored in .cache/mozilla/Firefox/z39yd8n9.dev-edition-default/cashe2/entries folder
