Title says it all. If i am not writing in a text-box or something, If the cursor's last clicked point was blank empty spot across the webpage. For example when i hit the "D" key a search-in-page bar pops up and searchs for "d" letters in the page. How can i disable it ? i dont want it to be opened when i hit a key everytime"

edit: I found the solution while scrolling through web.

  • Click the menu button at top right and select Options.
  • Select the General panel.
  • Navigate to the Browsing section at the end of the page.
  • Check mark Search for text when you start typing.
  • Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

That's all
