Hello to all, I am using Mozilla Thunderbird 68.8.0 in Windows 10 and so far I had no problem. since few days one old email dd. 8.5.2020 is continously loaded down as a new one, but it is no longer on the server. I am checking this email address ...@gmail both on the PC and on my mobile, but the problem I am having only on the PC, not on the mobile. When checking the email direct from the internet, this mail has been deleted there and is no longer present, but on the PC still coming. I tried to cancel the trash and restart, but the problem maintains, same when cancelling the email account and adding it newly. I am not quite sure whether having explained my problem correctlxy, but hope for some guidance as it is frustating every day to having to delete this mail in 50 copies and even more. rgds Wolfgang

As this is a gmail account, did you check the 'All Mail' folder ?

On the PC, are you talking about a POP or IMAP mail account ?

Have you compacted your Inbox recently or is Account Settings > Server Settings set up to Cleanup 'Expunge' on exit?

Hello and thanks a lot for the reply given - I checked in "All Mail" folder and nothing - I do have a POP account - under account settings that cleanup on exit I could not find, - furthermore I took the hook from automatic load down, now I do rcve that mail only once when loading down - as mentioned on the mobile I am using for same account this problem is not existing kdst rgds Wolfgang / Hamburg / Germany
