How to change/hide User-Agent with Moz://a Firefox
Is it possible to hide my true user-agent while using firefox? This article seems professional, but outdated. https://whoer.net/blog/how-to-change-user-agent-in-browser/
Couldnt get it to work with about:config general.useragent.override accessibility.AOM.enabled When i richtklick, nothing happens.
Im not looking for an addon to change my user-agent, pretty sure it is somehow possible within firefox. There are browsers like opera and other applications like aurora store which by default allow it easly to use a custom user-agent. This is great privacy feature, since firefox is a privacy browser how hard can it be?

Is there a reason you need to change the user agent? Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?
These links will show you how websites you connect to read from your system/browser.

Is there no discretion here? Why do you need to know my reasons? Was my question not clear enough? I simply want to hide my real user-agent that's all. And for the reason, its called privacy. I dont want Google and Facebook tracking my A** all over the Internet. So if they try to track me, i will pretend being someone else, with a custom/random user-agent.
Now again, how can i do that? The url/link you sent me releated to howtogeek, that solution does not work. When i rightklick in about:config into blank area i have no menu.
The reason I asked is if you were having problems.
Does this web search help? https://www.bing.com/search?q=hide+my+real+user-agent

Sorry i was harsh, my reason to hide or change my user agent is simple. Privacy and Freedom. Avoid Trackin and Bigtech Spy-Stalking.
Bing is from microsoft, should never use that search engine.
hii Firefox_Bug_Report,
There is "Resist Fingerprinting" that modifies some settings including the user agent, but some websites like the Addons website won't work properly if you modify the user agent and might complain that your Firefox version isn't compatible. If you would enable this spoofing feature then you would have to be aware of possible issues and disable such a feature. There is a way to only modify the user agent, but that should be used with care as well.

I use only ublock origin and there are no issues while having resist fingerprinting set to true. So thank you, but im not looking to reset my default useragent, so which way would that be to modify useragent? Also, i will take car but if i mess anything up, i dont care. I have a backup of my profile and i will just reinstall firefox if needed, that is not a problem.
