May I Make A Suggestion?

Hello....I would like you to INCREASE the number of SHORTCUTS I am allowed to add to my browser after opening a New Tab. Currently I can add up to 32 shortcuts (4 rows of 8 shortcuts) & that's it.

Why can't I add, say, 64 shortcuts to my New Tab after it is opened? Why not let me add as many shortcuts as I need, regardless of how many there are? The current maximum of 32 shortcuts isn't nearly enough.

Thank you.

I can give you a secret method:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. The moderators would like us to remind you that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste topSitesRows and pause while the list is filtered

Firefox should list two different preferences

(3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows preference to display an editing field, and change the value to 8 then press Enter or click the blue check mark button to save the change.

You should notice the change the next time you open a new tab.
