Firefox not loading some web pages
Firefox 98.0.1 will not load some web pages that other browsers will. I get a message about Network Protocol Error with the option to "Try Again" which hasn't worked. I've tried many of the fixes suggested here but nothing changes. If I copy the link Firefox won't open and paste it in Brave or Opera the link loads fine. I don't want to quit Firefox but I can't spend time every day trying to fix it either.

Can we get examples of the sites not working for you?
Tried to get some examples but Firefox won't even load this morning. Opened Brave and downloaded Firefox, reinstalled Firefox. Now it opens but I will look for an alternative while Firefox figures itself out. Been using Firefox for a decade but can't waste any more time trying to keep it running.
Here is one example where I can recall specifics...clicked a link to an article on patriotjournal.com, got the Network Protocol Error message, tried the link in Brave, no problem. if I type "patriotjournal.com" in Firefox without the "http", "https", or www, the patriot journal homepage opens but seems incomplete ( no lock symbol, no bookmark button, etc.
Works for me. see screenshot What security software are you running?

Firefox up to mischief again, won't load Lowe's.com. BTW I'm using Avast One.
What happens when you disable Avast? Have you tried Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-4troubleshoot-modesf5safe-modesf

Been with Firefox since the 90s but this just sucks. Just what do you expect us to do till you get your act together and send an update? Starting to look for a different web provider.
