When new item is added to my Google calendar via Thunderbird that I share with my wife it is updated on my Thunderbird calendar it doesn't update my wife's Thunderbird calendar even using the synchronize command.

We have close Thunderbird and reopen it to get it to upload to her calendar.

Is this known bug?

is she using the provider for google calendar perhaps and you are not?

We are both using the same Google Calendar addon we have been using for years and it is up to date. If she adds something to her calendar sync doesn't work for me. I have to close and reopen Thunderbird to get an update.

It seems the sync button doesn't work properly

Are there any knowledgeable Thunderbird admins or developers monitoring these posts??

Same problem here. I am using TB 102.6.1 and neither calendar autosync nor manual sync work fo google calendar. I have to either close TB and reopen or right-click on my google calendar, choose properties, then uncheck "Enable this calendar" and press OK followed by clicking on the now showing "ENABLE" button. These sequences properly refresh google calendar in TB. I am using the Provider for Google Calendar extension. I have identified this problem previously and gotten no questions or feedback of any kind.
